Doug Reviews: Safety Not Guaranteed
I’ve been trying to make an effort and catch up on some movies I missed on the first go-around when they were in theaters. So, with that in mind, I finally gave Director Colin Trevorrow’s Safety Not Guaranteed a spin. I’m glad I did. Continue reading
Doug Reviews: Short Term 12

Doug Reviews: The Giver
It’s funny that audiences are finally getting a film adaptation of The Giver now that all of its imitators in the publishing world have gotten their chance to shine—I’m looking at you, Divergent. Both the albums are great, but when I’m seeing Beck for the first time, I want to see Beck. Thankfully, he did not disappoint. Continue reading

Doug Reviews: Guardians of the Galaxy
There’s no doubt that Marvel Studios has another great franchise on their hands with Guardians of the Galaxy. The Guardians themselves are extremely likable and the film is tons of fun. However, some of the elements around them keep the film from being king of the Marvel hill. Continue reading
