2020 was, understandably, a weird year for movies. It was strange not going to the theater to see all the newest films and, admittedly, it’s not the same watching them at home on TV. So, there’s a weird disconnect with this year’s nominees. Nomadland is the favorite to win the big prize, but will it? Or, will there be a big surprise like there was last year when Parasite – deservedly – swooped in to claim Best Picture? We’ll find out together on Sunday!
