The Hodgepodge Podcast is two years old! And with that dubious anniversary comes our Third Annual Best and Worst Films of the Summer lists! This year, Doug and Dirty A changed things up a little bit. Instead of their three best and three worst each, they have provided their FIVE best films and one worst. This was due to the fact that they largely avoided many of the worst-reviewed films of the summer and they had to limit their lists to what they actually saw. Take a listen and for those of you who have been with us over these last two years, thanks for listening!

Doug Reviews: Straight Outta Compton
For a music group labeled at one time, “The World’s Most Dangerous Group,” the biopic for legendary rap group N.W.A. plays things surprisingly safe. But, does that make Director F. Gary Gray’s Straight Outta Compton a bad film? Continue reading
Doug Reviews: The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
