Doug Reviews: Guardians of the Galaxy
There’s no doubt that Marvel Studios has another great franchise on their hands with Guardians of the Galaxy. The Guardians themselves are extremely likable and the film is tons of fun. However, some of the elements around them keep the film from being king of the Marvel hill. Continue reading
Doug Reviews: Get on Up
James Brown was really not a nice guy, but he was entertaining as hell. That’s what I took away from Director Tate Taylor’s biopic, Get on Up, featuring a star-making turn by Chadwick Boseman as Brown. Continue reading

I’m angry that we won’t see him lead another film. Continue reading

Doug Reviews: Sex Tape
Congratulations need to go out to Earth to Echo, as it is no longer the worst movie of the summer. That dubious honor has now shifted to Sex Tape. It’s not only the worst of the summer, it’s the worst of the year. Continue reading
