Happy 40th Anniversary, Star Wars!
Hey Hodgepodgers, Doug here. Every year, I get annoyed at the whole “May the 4th be with You” B.S. that happens every fourth of May. Great, an easy play on words has created an unofficial/official holiday for my favorite movies. Any Star Wars fan worth their salt knows that May 25th should be the actual holiday, because it was on this day in 1977 that Star Wars first burst onto the scene and the public consciousness. That’s 40 years ago for those who are counting.
